Mr. Scott has served as an Adeptus Director since 2013, serving as Chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Nominating and Governance Committee. Prior to joining Adeptus, Mr. Scott served as the Co-President of Universal American Corporation, a publically traded healthcare company. Previously, he served as Chairman and CEO of APS Healthcare, prior to its acquisition by Universal American and has also served as Chief Financial Officer of PacifiCare Health Systems. Mr. Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors of Q-Centrix, Inc. and as Chairman of its Audit Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Elements Behavioral Health. Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics from Colgate University, as well as a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
Frank R. Williams, Jr. became the Chief Financial Officer of the Company in 2016. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Williams was the Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director-Acquisitions for Medical Properties Trust (MPT) for the past five years. Prior to MPT, Williams was a Managing Director in the healthcare investment banking division at Barclays Capital. Before that, he was a Senior Managing Director in the healthcare group at Bear, Stearns & Co, Inc. Williams earned his MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and BA and BS from Southern Methodist University.
